How does the new CSCS card work?

The new CSCS card or CSCS smart Card works in the same way as the normal card. The big difference between the old card and the new CSCS card is that instead of just looking at the card and perhaps calling the card helpline to substantiate its authenticity, the supervisor has the option to check the validity of the card using an electronic CSCS card reader.

How do I renew my CSCS Card?

To renew your CSCS card you must call us on 0844 682 0844 and we will tell you if your CSCS card needs to be renewed and if you need any additional qualifications or training.

How does the traditional CSCS card differ from the CSCS smart Card?

The new CSCS card is pretty much the same as the traditional card. The only difference being that the new card has implanted chip in it.
