Can another person take my place for a test, as I can not sit the test?

It is not possible for another person to take your place for the test. This is because all your details have been generated into the central data base with personal details that are unique to yourself. Upon arrival at the test centre, a proof of identification is mandatory.

Am I exempt from taking the Health, Safety & Environment Test if I have completed an NVQ qualification in the past 2 years?

The exemption from taking the health, safety & environment test, if one has completed their NVQ in the past two years is correct. However please contact our customer service department, as they will need further details from you in order to ascertain your eligibility for the exemption.

Can I start work without the CSCS card as I have the certificate?

The CSCS Card is constantly being required by managers and is a major requirement for one to work on site. There are some construction sites that will allow you on site without the card, however they may request proof that the card is being processed. The Card shows proof of Health and Safety competence. Although the Health, Safety & Environment certificate is issued upon passing the test, it is only valid for 2 years and the card is valid for 5 years. Please check with your employer if they will allow you on site.
