This Site Safety Plus course is a popular route for anyone looking to take their first step towards obtaining a CSCS Labourers (Green) Card.

This one day course can be for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry. 

The course gives delegates an awareness of health and safety and how it affects their daily role.

Overview:

This course is the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Card (Green Card) and to the progressive CITB Site Safety Plus suite of courses that range from training for operatives into the industry up to senior manager / director.

Assessment and exams:

This is a highly interactive course delivered by means of case studies, classroom discussion and group work. You will be continuously assessed and required to successfully complete a multiple-choice test.

CITB Site Safety Plus Certificate

Course attendance requirements:

Attendance requirements for Health and Safety Awareness: Delegates are required to attend 7½ hours training, since without full attendance the certificate will not be awarded. Delegates must attend the required hours of training, in accordance with the course programme, to achieve the necessary learning objectives to qualify for the certificate. If this is not possible the delegate must enrol on a new course and retake the full course. Under no circumstances may a delegate sit the compulsory objective examination unless all the required hours have been attended. CS LINKS reserves the right to charge an additional sum of to cover costs incurred when switching courses. This will be agreed in advance of the delegate moving course.
